There are over one million nonbinary adults currently living in the United States. 
        
                        Honestly?
                                     That was more than I thought.

There are over three hundred twenty-eight million people living in the United States of
America as of 2019. 

It’s 2022 and I’m sure that number is much larger. 

1 million people in 328 million people is really not that much, percentage-wise.

Or 0.3% of the population

        However,

                    One in three hundred twenty-eight 
                    people in the United States of America are non-binary. 

I went to high school with about 1600 students; 400 per year. 
                    Statistically, there were at least five future non-binary people in my high school
                    at any one time
                    and there could have been one more in my graduating class.
The population of my Hometown is approximately 40,600 people.
                    Statistically, there are 124 nonbinary people in my hometown.
The population of my home county is about 188,754 people. 
                    Statistically, there are 575 nonbinary people in my school district. 
The population of North Carolina is approximately 10.7 million people.
                    Statistically, there are 3,262 nonbinary people in the state.
